Older children might want to explore our Adventure play area, this
new play area was completed in August 2001. Young visitors can enjoy
exploring its features of a Castle, sky run and elevated walkway and
let off some steam whilst the older members of the group enjoy a well-earned
rest.
You can enjoy riding to it from the Castle Station on the narrow gauge
railway and may like to view the deer on a easy stroll back to the
Castle. This unique design has been built to hold up to 100 children
at a time. It has four towers, a central keep and mock moat as well
as slides,
an aerial runway and a rope bridge forming part of the castle theme.
It also has many different fun-packed and exciting features including
two stainless steel slides, climbing nets and they can wander over
stepping logs and climb ladders to reach the upper levels of the castle.
Disabled children also have the chance to enjoy this experience with
specialised design facilities which include their own double width
drawbridge, bumpy walkway, slide and ramp.
Please note that access to the Adventure Playground will only be available
to children of 6 yrs to 12 yrs. Adults and seniors will only be admitted
if accompanied by a child.
