Early morning at the beach

Langland is a sandy beach that is fringed by huts, a popular destination for both visitors and locals all year round. The beach is only a 15 minute walk from the centre of Mumbles and offers a good range of facilities. When large swells are running up the Bristol Channel, breaks such as Crab Island, The Sand Bar, Middle Reef and Lefts start to work, attracting surfers from far and wide. If you are lucky you may observe a surfing competition.
