| 12. Dickslade Turn around and head back towards the village, take the path to your right; you will have spectacular views over Swansea Bay. Continue along past the triangulation pillar, on your right you will see a path leading downhill through trees, follow this path untill you reach the cottages of Dickslade. Walk down the steps to the main road. At the bottom look for the turnpike road boundary stone. This turnpike or toll road was built around 1826 and was the main route to Swansea. |
