A charming fisherman's cottage overlooking
Swansea Bay and within walking distance of all the amenities of Mumbles, the largest of the Gower villages. A tastefully refurbished retreat for couples or families, Periwinkle Cottage offers 4 star self-catering accommodation. There are 2 bedrooms sleeping 1- 4 guests + cot and there is a private parking space immediately outside.

   Periwinkle Cottage is furnished in contemporary country style with a smattering of vintage decorative items. It is a relaxing haven of calm seaside colours, beautiful sea views and carefully designed with an attention to detail to make your stay thoroughly enjoyable.The cottage is centrally heated and double glazed throughout and has a private parking space. A welcome tray with Welsh cakes and milk is provided on arrival plus complimentary toiletries and bath towels. The cottage has a folder of local tourist information and there is a small selection of DVDs, games and hardback books. A cot (without linen), highchair, stair-gate and night lights are provided at no extra cost if required.
A delightful bedroom with picture window overlooking the sea. Watch the boats go by from the king size teak four poster bed, dressed with high quality linen, pillows and duvet with scatter cushions on the blanket box. Triple wardrobe with full length mirror, shelves and wooden hangers and a chest of drawers. Bedside shelves with wall lights over. Painted floorboards, chair, large wool rug and telescope!

Sited at the back of the cottage but still with a sea view, the pleasant dining area has a pine table and 4 padded dining chairs. The 'woodburning' electric fire is useful for additional heat if the summer evenings are cool and and there is a well stocked crockery cupboard.

In the garden the two sitting areas are sheltered from the wind and catch plenty of sun. A teak bar table and 2 bar stools are ideal for drinks on the deck and the large garden table with reclining chairs and parasol on the top terrace allows plenty of space for eating and enjoying the view. A charcoal barbecue is supplied and there is also mains garden lighting.
At the front of the cottage is a tiny seating area with a bench and potted plants.
