| Absorb
the breathtaking scenery of, with its delightful little bays and coves.
We have named the two cottages after the coves opposite us called Ramsgrove
and Butterslade; this is only a short walk from the door of the cottages.
The cliff is mainly owned by the National Trust so take the opportunity
to walk along to Mewslade and Fall Bay and then around to the vast 5 mile
sandy beach of Rhossili and the Worms Head, which is an island off the end
of the peninsula. Not only can you go to the bays, but also take our meadow path from the cottage, through a small woodland which opens out onto a pond along with the surrounding wildlife. As you sit on the bench, you may be lucky enough to see the badgers out at dusk or the fox cubs playing, the wild life varies throughout the year. Our 140 acre farm has free access for you to roam around at your leisure, the footpaths can then take you to join Rhossili Hill and across to the village of Llangennith. |

Our cottages were converted from a working barn 16 years ago where we milked cows and ground corn in the mill. We have tried to keep and “olde worlde” feel by restoring the barn with its original stone work and beams. The butter churn featured in Butterslade cottage, was used by my grandmother, who made and sold her butter in Swansea market for many years. Many items that were used on the farm such as the shearing wheel and horse brasses are also displayed around the cottages. Kimley Moor has been in our family since 1714, our ancestors used to live in part of this barn sharing it with the livestock.
At
a glance: Both cottages benefit from the following features. Laundry Room with washing machine and dryer also includes storage space for outdoor equipment and bikes
