The accommodation has a light and spacious feel and has been beautifully decorated and furnished throughout.
The ground floor consists of a generous open plan living and dining room, leading to a lovely kitchen with views over the garden. The full height bay window allows light to flood in to the living area which has leather sofas, flat panel digital television and DVD player. The Dining area can accommodate six people and is adjacent to the french windows leading to the garden.The kitchen is appointed to a high standard containing quality appliances. These consist of: fridge freezer, electric hob, integrated oven, microwave, washing machine. The first floor consists of a master bedroom which is furnished beautifully with French Armoire and cast iron style kingsize bed. The room has two south facing windows making it very bright and spacious. The second bedroom also has a king sized wooden bed, generous wardrobe and chest of drawers. The large window provides views over the garden. The family bathroom is finished to a high standard and benefits from both a bath and large separate shower enclosure. The second floor is a striking attic conversion with twin beds, chest of drawers and Hanging Rail. The two Velux windows offer a stunning view towards Oystermouth Castle and across Swansea Bay. Externally there is a newly landscaped garden containing several decked areas for you to enjoy. The garden is completely enclosed making it very safe for children. There is a barbecue and outside furniture provided. Mumbles Area The village at the gateway to the Gower. What was a fishing village with a Norman Castle is now a vibrant centre with restaurants, cafes, bars and boutique shops. A good base for your holiday with all these amenities, beaches within easy walking distance and the isolated beaches of the Gower a short distance away. Escape to Rhossili beach in twenty minutes, and return to Mumbles for a wonderful evening out without worrying about having to drive. On offer is also an amusement arcade, skating rink, parks with children's play areas and even a friday night film show in the local hall. During the summer holidays there is also children’s activities in the park provided free of charge by the local authority. If you want a change of scene there is the land train which connects Mumbles to the Blackpill Lido, paddling and play areas for the children and then on into Swansea for shopping, all around the sweep of the beautiful Swansea Bay. The beaches closest to Mumbles are Limeslade and Bracelet Bay. The former has ample parking, a cafe and Italian restaurant with spectacular views over the bay. The latter an old fashioned style ice cream parlor and cafe. Further along the cliff path are Rotherslade and Langland which are the most popular beaches in the area. There is ample parking and a number of child friendly cafes. The Langland Brasserie is located next the beach and is also open for evening meals in a truly fantastic setting |

Mumbles / Langand Bay area Mumbles village is a short walk along the safe coastal path to Bracelet, Rotherslade Langland and Caswell Bays. Langland and Caswell Bays are safe and attract surfers in all seasons and there is tennis and golf for enthusiasts. Local attractions are many and various including natural geographical attractions like coastal and valley walks, the famous beaches of Three Cliffs and Rhossili and cultural attractions in Bishopston, Mumbles and Swansea all in close proximity. It is also possible to go further afield to the Black Mountains, Dan Yr Ogof caves and even the Brecon Beacons. |
