Redcliffe Luxury Apartment Redcliffe apartment has a fantastic vantage point for views of Caswell Bay, voted one of the most beautiful beaches on Gower with its ancient cypress trees, rivers and lush cliffs. It also has the advantage of being close to Mumbles village with its cafes, bistros, harbour, pier and lighthouse -only an hour's walk along the cliff path with fabulous views all the way.. The balcony views are spectacular at any time of the day or year and it is often possible to see the Devon coast and enjoy gorgeous sunset skies.There is direct access to walks along the Gower coastal path and inland along beautiful valleys. Golfers and horse riders are visible on the headlands and there are numerous facilities for such recreation. Caswell has every type of watersport including surfing, kayaking, as well as caving, cycling, rock pooling and fishing. The fully manned lifeguards' hut is just below the apartment making Caswell Bay one of the safest swimming and surfing bays on Gower. There is nothing nicer than observing the boats and yachts and the tidal changes in bird's eye view from the balcony. Guests can explore the world renowned beaches of Three Cliffs, Oxwich and Rhossilli which are no more than forty five minutes by car. It is also possible to take in these South Gower beaches on a hike via Brandy cove, Pobbles Bay and Pwlldu.

Mumbles / Caswell Bay area From Mumbles village is a short drive ( or walk along the safe coastal path) to Bracelet, Rotherslade Langland and Caswell Bays. Langland and Caswell Bays are safe and attract surfers in all seasons and there is tennis and golf for enthusiasts. The redcliffe apartments are in a spectacular and unique position in the sheltered western side of wide Caswell Bay. Originally built in th 1960s their plain outward appearance belied the stunning position and views which are truly breathtaking. Local attractions are many and various including natural geographical attractions like coastal and valley walks, the famous beaches of Three Cliffs and Rhossili and cultural attractions in Bishopston, Mumbles and Swansea all in close proximity. It is also possible to go further afield to the Black Mountains, Dan Yr Ogof caves and even the Brecon Beacons. West and Central Wales are also accessible with routes via North Gower, Pembrey, Laugharne, Tenby towards Pembrokeshire making touring feasible and enjoyable. | Further details outdoors: The Redcliffe apartments are built in a unique position on the safe sheltered side of Caswell Bay. Access is via a private gated drive from the coast road and there is safe and plentiful parking directly in front of the apartments with views of the beach. There is a safe balustraded set of steps from the car park onto the beach and here it is possible to join the Gower coast path directly to walk westwards or to walk across the beach to access the easterly route. To the west are Brandy Cove, Pobbes, Pwlldu and Three Cliffs and to the East are Langland, Rotherslade and Bracelet Bays leading to the Mumbles lighthouse, pier and harbour. There are a number of viewpoints and beauty spots in each direction with small cafes en route towards Mumbles. From here guests can view the whole sweep of Swansea Bay and the town, with its Dylan Thomas exhibition, Maritime Quarter and marina, Museum, Leisure centre with wave machine, good shopping facilities, Heritage sites and the Grand Theatre, is well worth a visit. There are a number of cultural activities during the Ostreme Mumbles festival, at theTaliesin Arts centre at Swansea university and many local village activities which are of interest. |
