The Retreat holiday home is situated in the remote area of Reynoldston on the beautiful Gower peninsular.  Reynoldston is a pretty village with excellent access to many beaches on Gower, such as Oxwich Bay and Three Cliffs.  The local pub in Reynoldston,The King Arthur is well renowned and serves excellent pub food and is a perfect location for an evening drink in the beautiful beer garden.  The main attraction of Reynoldston is Cefn Bryn, the highest point on Gower which offers stunning views across the scenic landscape, perfect for walking and hiking.  

Coombe Cottage has breathtaking views across the surrounding fields to the sea. Nearby footpaths lead in one direction to the pebbly beach of Overton Mere and in the other direction to Rhosilli Downs and Bay which is listed by the Guardian as one of the top ten places to walk in the UK. The cottage has an idyllic rural location, but is only a few minutes from the busy village of Port Eynon. The sandy bay of Port Eynon was voted the Best British Beach in the 2011 Cadbury Flake 99 Great British Beach Awards. The village of Port Eynon has a gift shop, a surf shop, The Smuggler's Haunt restaurant, two fish and chip shops and The Ship Inn pub. Coombe Cottage itself is a stunning property.
